The newly-constructed building is a rare example of volume replacement in the capital city. Particular care was put into the design of the facades, especially the one facing Ponte Milvio square which features an elliptical shape, a nod to the XIX century piazza designed by Valadier. The colonnade defines the ellipse and gives the building a strong image, in relation to the nearby dense developments. The facade on Via della Farnesina is characterized by materials typical of the historical architecture of Rome: bricks, travertine marble and peperino.
