San Valeriano

Newly built country house, in the Lazio's side of the Maremma area, which reinterpretes the archetype of agricultural architecture. The building, North-South oriented, presents a regular L-shaped footprint. The two wings, with independent services, surround an external courtyard protected from cold winds. Local and traditional materials were employed: tuff, plaster and peperino. The roof is in copper plates with thin amorphous photovoltaic panels. Mosaics by: Donatella Servidio
