Apartment in the heart of San Lorenzo, in a building of the early XX century. The historical component has been enhanced through the inclusion of cosmatesque inlays, reinterpreted in a contemporary context, juxtaposed to a modern resin floor. The architecture of the area typically includes an added volume at the top of the buildings, originally used as a lavatory. In this project it has been transformed into a conservatory, which gives light and airiness to the apartment. Custom made furniture, doors made through the reuse of the window shutters, a door with chalk decorations by an artist, and polychrome mosaics, all characterize this unique project.
