Studio

Founded in Rome in 1979, Studio Marchetti deals with architecture at different scales, from building to design, from renovation to new development. Our team’s main research activity focuses on the theme of contemporary living; the design work is articulated proposing forms and languages aimed at new possibilities for the use of space. We strive to combine technical and performance aspects with environmental and economic ones, never losing sight of the practical and concrete management of a project.Active in several Italian cities, Studio Marchetti avails itself of a network of professionals and collaborators.

Francesco Marchetti

Graduated in Architecture from Florence with an experimental thesis that allowed him to get in touch with Radical Architecture and its protagonists: Superstudio, Michele De Lucchi, Andrea Branzi, UFO, Alessandro Mendini, and Ettore Sottsass. He spent long periods in France,Spain, and especially in the United States, discovering and becoming involved with Arcosanti’s architecture, Land Art, Berkeley, and the first experiments.

Costanza Marchetti
